See Promoting Equality, Diversity and Opportunity |
This is an important time when employers and employees must work together to address and bring change to address racial inequality and its impact on all aspects of society, including the workplace. While many laws have been passed to address systemic racism and inequality, it is clear that there is much more to do.
The California Chamber of Commerce recognizes the realities of systemic racism and the role that skin color plays in denying equality and freedom.
CalChamber members are global leaders who have developed and produced many of the products and services people rely on to make their lives better. Our small business members provide jobs that support families in the communities where they operate. Our members are the job creators and the innovators looked to for positive change. Today, the leadership of CalChamber members is needed more than ever. California employers must work together to end racial injustice and inequality not only in our workplaces, but in the whole of society.
To help employers foster an inclusive workforce and learn other ways to address systemic bias, the CalChamber has created a free webinar, and a resource webpage that compiles relevant information and educational resources.
Free Resources Available
The Promoting Equality, Diversity and Opportunity in the Workplace resource webpage features insightful podcasts, webinars, blogs, and other training materials that are useful tools in combating bias and workplace discrimination.
The CalChamber is asking employers to please share these items and future updates to this page with employees and colleagues so that, together, we can help forge a lasting culture of change.
