The California Chamber of Commerce is urging its members to vote in today’s General Election.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. In order to be counted, personally delivered ballots must be returned to an elections official in the voter’s county of residence no later than 8 p.m. today. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before November 6, 2018 and received by the voter’s county elections office no later than November 9, 2018, according to the website of the Secretary of State.
Vote-by-mail ballots that are mailed must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by your county elections office no later than 3 days after Election Day. If you are not sure your vote-by-mail ballot will arrive in time if mailed, bring it to your county elections office on or before Election Day or to any polling place in your county between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Election Day.
