Governor Gavin Newsom is to be applauded for his efforts to do everything possible to protect the health and safety of Californians while balancing the need to keep our economy open for business.
The government safety net for vulnerable populations and the workers displaced by a lack of economic activity is funded by the private sector economy through tax revenue as well as providing the jobs that give workers wages and benefits so they can provide for their families.
We strongly agree with the Governor that those Californians who can be productive must be productive to provide the goods and services we all need.
