U.S. exports to Romania totaled $922 million in 2020. Transportation equipment made up 19.5% of the total, followed by computer and electronic products at 18.5% of the total, and non-electrical machinery at 16.5% of the total. Chemicals also made up 7.7% of the total. Imports from Romania to the U.S. totaled $2.13 billion in 2020. Computer and electronic products made up 14.9% of total imports, followed by electrical equipment at 13.2%, transportation equipment at 9.7%, and non-electrical machinery at 9.2%.
