Small businesses are an economic force in California. Our state is home to more than 4 million small businesses, which make up 99.8% of all businesses in the state. These small businesses employ around 7.5 million people, which constitutes just under half of all employees in California.

CalChamber Small Business Policy Council
The CalChamber Small Business Policy Council is a pivotal initiative designed to amplify the voices of small businesses in the State Capitol.
The Council, comprising 30 members, includes 15 local chamber CEOs and 15 CalChamber members and aims to ensure that the needs and priorities of small businesses are at the forefront of legislative discussions.
Together, we can ensure that small businesses continue to be a driving force in our economy and a cornerstone of the California dream.
