The California Business Outlook and Dinner is a new event that merges the former CalChamber Capitol Summit and Sacramento Host Breakfast. 

Business leaders from around the state gathered in Sacramento on June 4, 2025 for the California Business Outlook and Dinner.

The President’s Circle Award recognizes local chambers of commerce for excellence in business advocacy and helping their members comply with California employment laws.

The California Chamber of Commerce has named 12 local chambers of commerce as recipients of the 2025 President’s Circle Award. Top Story

The Chamber of the Year Award, new in 2025, was presented to the Redlands Chamber of Commerce, in recognition of the local organization’s outstanding leadership in community engagement, economic development and advocacy.

The Small Business Awards, provided four $5,000 grants to recognize business owners for their leadership, resilience, and contributions to their communities. Top Story & Videos

This initiative was made possible through the support and partnership of Visit California, California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA), the California Retailers Association, the California Restaurant Association, Western Growers, and the Sacramento Host Committee, who share CalChamber’s commitment to championing California’s small businesses.

California Business Outlook Reception and Dinner

Business, civic and legislative leaders gathered on June 4, 2025 for the California Business Outlook and Dinner featuring remarks from CalChamber Chair Maryam Brown and CalChamber President and CEO Jennifer Barrera, among others.

The California Business Outlook Dinner reimagines a tradition begun 99 years ago by the founder of the Sacramento Host Committee, made up of Sacramento area business leaders. Instead of breakfast, about 800 guests gathered for a networking reception and dinner. Attendees at the annual event included decision-makers in California business, finance, government, education, agriculture and the international community.

Partners in presenting this event are the California Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento Host Committee, California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA), California Restaurant Association, California Retailers Association, Visit California and Western Growers.

2025 Business Outlook and Dinner - Gov Candidates PanelCalifornia Business Outlook dinner attendees had the opportunity to compare the views of six candidates for California Governor participating in a panel discussion moderated by John Myers, CalChamber senior vice president of communications and external affairs.
