Dan Granieri joined the California Chamber of Commerce in April 2025 as vice president of information technology, following more than two decades leading management of information systems at companies in the health care, technology, and financial services industries.

He will be focused on leading the IT team and projects to help improve operational efficiencies, optimize user experiences, help deliver greater value to CalChamber members, protect the organization’s digital assets, and drive innovation.

Most recently, Granieri served as chief technology officer at Planet Home Lending, a national mortgage lender and mortgage servicing firm. Before that, he was the chief information officer of national mortgage lender Summit Funding, Inc. He came to the mortgage banking industry after leading IT organizations for two of the top national insurance brokerage firms in the United States. Granieri helped lead those organizations through periods of rapid growth through acquisitions, successfully integrating systems while standardizing systems and improving processes.

Granieri began his career working part-time in the information technology department while a student at Sonoma State University. He moved on to full-time work in the industry at companies in the area, eventually filling multiple director-level leadership positions at Quest Diagnostics, where he led several digital transformation initiatives to modernize systems while improving user experiences for customers and patients.
