Taylor Hathaway-Zepeda is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Her practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, equity investments, restructuring transactions and general corporate governance. Hathaway-Zepeda works with companies in a broad array of industries, and has extensive experience working with media, entertainment and technology companies, and private equity sponsors.
Before joining Gibson Dunn, Hathaway-Zepeda served as managing law clerk to Chief Judge Sandra Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She received her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review and a finalist in the 100th Ames Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, she earned a master’s degree with a focus on international economics from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom as a recipient of the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship. She received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in economics from Harvard University, where she was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa and served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard International Review.
Hathaway-Zepeda has served on the California Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since August 2023 and has served on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce since 2016, where she is also chair of the Governance Committee. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Center at Caltech, where she is a member of the Executive Committee. Additionally, she is a member of Gibson Dunn’s Hiring Committee.
