Shannon N. Claire

Shannon N. Claire, Employment Law Subject Matter Expert joined the CalChamber legal affairs team in May 2026 as an employment law subject matter expert. In this role, she develops and authors employment law content, provides compliance guidance to employers and delivers training on a wide range of workplace legal issues. Claire has more than 16 years of litigation experience in the private sector. Early in her career, she handled general civil litigation and personal injury matters, building a strong foundation in trial practice and case management. She later focused her practice on labor and employment law, spending eight years representing employers in complex litigation and advising businesses on compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
