B.S., U.S. Military Academy at West Point; MHA, Baylor University; Ph.D., University of Florida. A 21-year U.S. Army veteran who served as Blackhawk pilot in a combat aviation brigade and as Medical Service Corps officer in the Army Medical Department. Prior to taking current post in August 2026 with Health Net, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation, was the plan president and CEO of Silver Summit Healthplan — Centene’s health plan in Nevada. Before joining Centene in 2019, held multiple executive leadership roles within Tenet Healthcare’s Baptist Health System in San Antonio, including CEO of St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, CEO of Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, and COO of North Central Baptist Hospital. Prior to joining Tenet, served as senior vice president of shared services at Intermedix Corporation. CalChamber director since August 2026.
