Diane D. Miller is president & CEO of Wilcox Miller & Nelson (WMN), a national retained board/executive search and governance consultancy firm, serving clientele ranging from global pension funds to private and public companies, and prominent nonprofits. Prior to assuming her current role, Miller served as vice president of portfolio management for a national real estate syndication company, overseeing a real estate portfolio spanning 30 states.
Miller is a seasoned board director, having served on three public company boards, two international private company boards, and numerous national and statewide nonprofit boards. Her expertise encompasses audit, culture, ESGRC, and strategy. Currently, she serves as vice chair and audit committee chair of the AARP Foundation board, on the California Chamber of Commerce board, and is on the Steering Committee for KPMG’s “Disruptive Technology Corporate Director Peer Group.”
Her governance works extends to her decade-long tenure as a member of the National Association of Corporate Director’s Board Advisory Services Faculty. In this capacity, she provided best-practice governance consulting, education, evaluation, and strategic advising to a diverse array of boards, ranging from Fortune 400 companies to prominent nonprofits. She also co-founded the NACD Northern California Chapter and served as board chair during the integration of the San Francisco Chapter and de novo start of the Chapter in Silicon Valley.
