AmCham Defense Innovation Delegation 2027

The United States and Australia are entering a new era of defense and technology cooperation. Advances in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, advanced manufacturing, space, and maritime capabilities are reshaping how nations think about security, deterrence, and strategic advantage.

To help leaders understand and engage with this rapidly evolving landscape, AmCham Australia invites you to express your interest in the 2027 Defence Innovation Delegation to the United States, visiting Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and Honolulu from 14-20 March 2027.

The delegation will be co-led by the Hon Ellen Lord, former US Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, and Rear Admiral Lorin Selby, USN (Ret), former Chief of Naval Research and current General Partner at Mare Liberum. Together, they bring decades of experience across defense acquisition, military capability development, research, innovation, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
