Generalized System of Preferences
On November 17, 2014 the US Chamber joined with more than 600 companies and associations (including the CalChamber) to send a letter urging Congress to renew the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) trade program before the end of the year. GSP eliminates import taxes on designated products from 130 countries around the world but expired 16 months ago.
