Trade Promotion Authority (TPA)​

District Export Councils (DECs) contribute leadership and international trade expertise to complement the US Commercial Service’s export promotion efforts. DEC members are appointed by the Secretary of Commerce and for more than 30 years have assisted companies in their local communities export, thus promoting economic growth and creating new and higher-paying jobs.

Roy Paulson of the California Inland Empire DEC is the current Chair of the National District Export Council. He is President of Paulson Manufacturing Corporation​ in Temecula and a member of the CalChamber Council for International Trade.
