On February 28, 2014, Chile became the 38th nation to join the Visa Waiver Program. Chile is an important partner with the U.S.-Chile Free Trade Agreement implemented on January 1, 2004. According to the U.S. Travel Association, visitors from Chile to the U.S. spent more than
