MWC Americas will feature an expected 30,000+ attendees, including over 50% senior-level executives and key decision makers, 1,000 exhibitors, and members of the press. As part of the program, Stephen Ozoigbo, CEO of the African Technology Foundation (ATF), will be presenting a keynote address on the State of Africa’s mobile ecosystem, while highlighting opportunities for global partnerships and investments.

As a sideshow event to this year’s activities, and in advancement of the African mobile narrative, ATF and LIONS@FRICA will be hosting an Africa Convening themed The Future of African Mobile Networks: 1 Billion Mobile Opportunities.

This event will bring together a select group of ecosystem stakeholders to discuss the current state of the African mobile ecosystems, and celebrate the advancements of mobile technologies across the continent.
